Marble run – DT project
In Spring term, year three worked on a very exciting DT project, where they designed, made, tested and evaluated their own marble run. They had to consider how to make a stable structure with unique twists and turns – purely out of cardboard.
Iron Age Mat
This term year 3 have been learning about the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. We were lucky enough to be visited by Iron Age Mat, an expert in the field. He brought in many artefacts for the children to look at, try on and experience. They even got to experience what it was like to be an Iron Age worrior!
Grounds day
Year 3 had a great time on grounds day! It was really fun being able to take our learning outside for the day. We had a go at creating Mandala art and a piece of art work linked to our end of day story 'Mr and Mrs Twit'. We also did a nature treasure hunt using QR codes!
